For Mining Sirdar:- Matriculation or a similar exam from a board of examinations that is recognised. Any other mining certificate that qualifies the applicant to work as a Mining Sirdar in accordance with Coal Mines Regulation 2017 is acceptable. A valid Mining Sirdar certificate of competency issued by DGMS is required. a current first aid certification. Certificate of Gas Testing Validity.

OR

Matriculation or a similar exam from a board of examinations that is recognised. Mining Engineering degree or diploma from any accredited institution.Any other mining certificate that qualifies the applicant to work as a Mining Sirdar in accordance with Coal Mines Regulation 2017 or a valid Overman’s certificate of competency granted by DGMS. Certificate of Gas Testing Validity. a current first aid certification.

For Surveyor:- Matriculation or a similar exam from a board of examinations that is recognised. Any other mining certificate that permits the applicant to work as a Surveyor in mines in accordance with the Coal Mines Regulation 2017 or the Surveyors’ Certificate of Competency (SCC) given under CMR’2017

Engineering in mining or mine surveying degree or diploma from any accredited institution. Any other mining certificate that permits the applicant to work as a Surveyor in mines in accordance with the Coal Mines Regulation 2017 or the Surveyors’ Certificate of Competency (SCC) given under CMR’2017
